Historical Context

From Tyre, the city where life has never ceased since the dawn of history, where civilization first learned to write, to sail, to trade across the Mediterranean—comes a cry that echoes through millennia.

For 5,000 years, Tyre has been a beacon of culture, resilience, and human achievement. Today, that beacon faces extinction.

The Current Destruction

Between October 8, 2023 and June 4, 2026, the Zionist entity has systematically destroyed Tyre. Residential buildings, cultural centers, mosques, churches, schools, hospitals—none were spared.

More than 2,000 martyrs in Tyre alone. Entire neighborhoods reduced to rubble. Families erased from existence.

The Statistics of Suffering

The numbers tell only part of the story:

  • Thousands of homes destroyed
  • Hundreds of civilians killed in single airstrikes
  • Entire families wiped out across generations
  • Cultural heritage sites deliberately targeted
  • Ancient Phoenician ruins damaged beyond repair

International Complicity

Global powers have granted the Zionist project a green light to commit atrocities. The same voices that speak of "human rights" and "international law" remain silent as Tyre burns.

But we remember. We witness. We resist.

Call to Action

We call for rapid-response international mobilizations—not someday, but now. Not silence, but voice. Not complicity, but resistance.

Our Demands

We demand:

  • Immediate, final, and unconditional end to the assault on Tyre
  • Lifting of the siege that strangles civilian life
  • International protection for civilians under fire
  • Accountability for war crimes and crimes against humanity
  • Reconstruction support for the displaced and destroyed

About Tyre

The oldest continuously inhabited city in the world

Tyre, known as Sour in Arabic, is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. With a history spanning over 5,000 years, it has been a cradle of civilization, home to one of the earliest and most important ports in the Mediterranean.

From its legendary purple dye that gave birth to the name "Phoenicia," to its resistance through millennia of conquests, Tyre remains a symbol of resilience and cultural richness.

Today, Tyre faces unprecedented challenges. Yet its spirit endures, carried by its people across the world. This call is for Tyre — but also for all who believe that humanity must resist injustice.
